Abstract

The modern business environment is marked by rapid technological changes and mounting competition that compel organizations to build the capabilities to quickly make adept strategic decisions. Due to its importance in the IT industry, strategic management has become one of the major drivers for organizational success (Bernard 2012). The aim of this study is to facilitate the understanding of superior organizational performance from a cost–benefit perspective via strategic management practices that optimize organizational resources while augmenting competitive advantage. Your Research is to study the contribution of strategic planning, environmental scanning, innovation, leadership and performance measurement systems in achieving operational efficiency, competitive advantage and long-term sustainability. The paper employs a conceptual research methodology that establishes a synthesis of the existing literature from peer-reviewed studies, industry reports and empirical applications. The paper also highlights the concepts of cost minimization and business sustainability by studying its impact on productivity, employee satisfaction, efficiency in organizational operations, and overall operational costs in addition to business recovery after making strategic decisions economically. The results showed that using well-structured strategic management, organizations can optimize resources, innovate in technology and gain dynamic capabilities while achieving superior performance. We conclude that when strategic management is complemented with cost–benefit evaluation, organizations benefit from a holistic managerial decision-making framework towards sustainable growth in today's competitive and rapidly changing IT environment...
