Submission Process

Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished manuscripts that fall within the aims and scope of Advances in Consumer Research. Submitted manuscripts must not be under consideration by any other journal or publication.

 

Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the journal's Guide for Authors and submitted through the journal's designated submission system or official editorial email.

 

Submission Requirements

Authors should ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been published previously.
  • The manuscript is not under review elsewhere.
  • All authors have approved the final version of the manuscript.
  • References are formatted according to the journal's prescribed citation style.
  • Any necessary ethical approvals and permissions have been obtained.
  • A declaration of conflicts of interest, if applicable, is provided.

 

Initial Screening

Upon submission, manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine:

  • Relevance to the journal's scope
  • Compliance with submission guidelines
  • Ethical and publication standards
  • Plagiarism and similarity checks

 

Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to authors or rejected without external review.

 

Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are subjected to a Double-Blind Peer Review process conducted by independent expert reviewers.

 

Revision and Acceptance

Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewer and editor comments. Acceptance for publication is based on the quality, originality, and scholarly contribution of the manuscript.
